HELLO MY GROCERY GHOULS!
What the hell happened, I blinked and four years went by. I have thought about this silly lil newsletter frequently! But I am a bit weary of Substack at this point, to be honest. Everyone has a substack now. Everyone. I’m not really chomping at the bit to add to the noise.
Then again, YES I AM. Professionally, I have been all grocery all the time. I work for Pop Up Grocer! Have I ever revealed this to you all? Anyway, I’m all grocery, all the time. But this newsletter was more for the oddities found in big box stores. Curation doesn’t interest me as much as the forgotten, dusty items on the shelf. Why are they dusty and forgotten? What was their former glory? How did they hang on to that shelf space after all this time?
Is this something that speaks to all of you as well? There is a part of me that would like to bring Enjoy By back to life. Do you want me to just shut up and lessen the cacophony one voice?
Either way, I wanted to reach out and say hello. I am so happy we are no longer sheltering in place. How have you been these past few years?
